By accessing or using Bozzad, you agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our services.
You may browse parts of Bozzad as a guest. To register, create a store, message other users, or use other interactive features, you must first accept these Terms. We record the version of the Terms you accepted and the date and time you accepted them.
Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to use Bozzad. By registering, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. Bozzad will not be liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account.
User Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep your account information updated. Bozzad reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts with incomplete or false information.
Account Deletion: You can delete your account at any time from the Settings screen in the app. Deleting your account removes your profile and associated personal data, subject to any records we are required by law to keep.
Store Creation: Users can create virtual stores to promote, sell, or advertise their products and services. You are solely responsible for all content and activity within your store, including product descriptions, pricing, and delivery terms.
Compliance: You agree to comply with all applicable laws, including those related to the sale of goods and services. Bozzad does not monitor or guarantee the quality, legality, or safety of products sold on user-created stores. You may not list items or services that are illegal, counterfeit, or otherwise prohibited under Section 4.2.
Payments and Transactions: Bozzad integrates with third-party payment processors such as Paystack for payment processing. Bozzad is not responsible for the handling of your payment information by those processors, and you agree to the terms of use of any payment processor used in a transaction.
All transactions made through Bozzad are subject to our Refund Policy, which governs refund eligibility and procedures in the event of product disputes between buyers and sellers. Bozzad holds seller funds for 72 hours after the buyer confirms delivery. Where the buyer does not confirm delivery, funds are released after 72 hours. In each case, release is subject to the terms of the Refund Policy. Payments made outside the Bozzad platform are not covered by this policy.
Bozzad allows users to create and share content, including store profiles, product listings, images, descriptions, and messages sent to other users in chat. By creating or sharing content, you agree to the following.
Your Content: You retain ownership of the content you create on Bozzad, but you grant Bozzad a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with our services.
Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the content you create and share. Bozzad does not endorse or guarantee the accuracy, quality, or legality of user-generated content.
Official Content: Messages and announcements sent by Bozzad's official accounts, and responses from Bozzad's automated assistant, are provided by Bozzad and are not user-generated content.
You agree not to create, post, or send any content that:
Third-Party Content: If you use content (such as images, text, or videos) that belongs to someone else, you must have permission or the legal right to use it. You agree not to post or distribute content that infringes upon the rights of any third party.
Reporting Infringement: If you believe that your intellectual property has been infringed by a user of Bozzad, please notify us at admin@bozzad.com with sufficient details, and we will investigate the matter. Bozzad reserves the right to remove any infringing content or terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.
You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities on Bozzad:
Bozzad reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these conduct rules without prior notice.
Zero tolerance: Bozzad has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Objectionable content includes harassment, bullying, hate speech, threats, sexual or explicit material, content that exploits or endangers minors, fraud or scams, illegal goods or services, and spam, as further described in Section 4.2.
Reporting: You can report any product or chat message using the Report option in the app. Reports are sent to Bozzad and reviewed by our team. You can also report content or abuse by emailing admin@bozzad.com.
Blocking: You can block any user from a chat detail screen. When you block a user, their content is removed from your view immediately, and they can no longer message you. Blocking also notifies Bozzad so that we can review the blocked user's conduct.
Our commitment: We will review reports and act on objectionable content within 24 hours. Action may include removing content, warning users, and suspending or permanently banning accounts, with or without prior notice.
Our rights: While we do not monitor all user content in advance, we reserve the right to review, restrict, or remove any content at any time, without notice, if we believe it violates these Terms, our policies, or applicable law.
Your use of Bozzad is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available in the app and on our website, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using Bozzad, you acknowledge that you have read it.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bozzad and its affiliates, directors, employees, or agents will not be liable for any damages arising out of or related to your use of the platform, including but not limited to:
Bozzad provides the platform "as is" and does not guarantee continuous or error-free access to our services.
Bozzad may contain links to third-party websites or services. These links are provided for your convenience only, and Bozzad is not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites. Your interactions with third-party websites or services are governed by their respective terms.
User Termination: You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it in the Settings screen of the app or by contacting us.
Bozzad Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to Bozzad at any time for violation of these Terms, applicable laws, or at our sole discretion.
Upon termination, your right to access the services will cease immediately, and any content or information associated with your account may no longer be accessible.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bozzad, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:
Bozzad reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through your account or via email, and we may ask you to accept the updated Terms before you continue using certain features. Continued use of Bozzad after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms and your use of Bozzad are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, unless mandatory consumer protection laws of your place of residence require otherwise.
In the event of any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of Bozzad, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter amicably through informal negotiation within 30 days from when the issue is raised. If a resolution cannot be reached, the following applies:
Arbitration: Where permitted by applicable law, any unresolved dispute shall be submitted to binding arbitration seated in Lagos, Nigeria, under the Arbitration and Mediation Act 2023. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding.
Court Jurisdiction: If arbitration is not applicable or cannot be enforced, the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria, shall have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory rights you may have to bring a claim in your local courts.
License: Bozzad Technologies Limited grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the Bozzad app on devices that you own or control, for your personal use, subject to these Terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, rent, lease, sublicense, or distribute the app or any part of it.
Support: Bozzad is solely responsible for providing maintenance and support for the app. You may contact us at admin@bozzad.com.
Acknowledgement regarding Apple: This agreement is between you and Bozzad Technologies Limited only, and not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). Bozzad, not Apple, is solely responsible for the app and its content. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support services for the app.
Warranty: If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app to you, if any. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app. Any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to a failure to conform to a warranty are Bozzad's responsibility.
Product claims: Bozzad, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app or your possession and use of it, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, and consumer protection claims.
Intellectual property claims: If a third party claims that the app or your use of it infringes their intellectual property rights, Bozzad, not Apple, is solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of that claim.
Legal compliance: You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country subject to a United States Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any United States Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Third-party terms: You must comply with any applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the app, such as your wireless data service agreement.
Third-party beneficiary: Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement. Upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce this agreement against you as a third-party beneficiary.
